As if their hard work and worthy cause wasn’t enough to make you want to literally throw wads money at them, it gets even better: They throw the greatest fundraisers in Toledo. You don’t even need to pretend to have fun. Here’s all you have to do at this one: drink. Drink and tip. Rachel Richardson and Rebecca Facey will return (they were our first-ever Raising the Bar bartenders) to slang drinks and you’ll tip them and they’ll go change the world. How easy is that? You didn’t even have to do anything.

I’m not exactly sure why it took us so long to book The Forest (maybe it was Dan’s metal hair) or why they never approached us even though many of them rank as some of most frequent regulars, but after we saw them play, we knew we needed to get them into the OT. Finally.

Another long-overdue-to-play-OT local band, Analog Graveyard, make their OT debut apparently just in the knick of time. And while we’re stupid excited to have them, we really wish this wasn’t their last show.
