Real quick, just some general information for bands that have already booked a show with us.
TIMES
Generally load-in time is between 8:30 and 9:30, but if you’re a touring band and those times don’t work for you, let us know. We open the bar at 4, and can meet bands up there earlier if bands get here before 4 and want to ditch their gear. And, for god’s sake, if you’re going to be here at 2:00 and have nothing to do, let Adam know. He’ll show you a good time, let you do laundry at his house, and has a bunch of sweet XBOX 360 games.
If you are headlining and interested in sound checking, please let us know ahead of time so that we can work that out. ”Doors” are usually listed on the website and Facebook events as 10:00, with the first band on a three-band bill typically going on at 11:00, second at 12:00 and third at 1:00. For a two-band bill, the first band typically goes on between 11:30 and 12:00. We keep the times sort of loose though and feel out the crowd.
POSTERS & PROMO MATERIAL
We would absolutely LOVE to play your music leading up to the show. We think it’s the best way to advertise your show to our current customers. In fact, we’re usually streaming it off your website or bandcamp page when we can anyway. Our bartenders always pick the music and customers often ask what we’re listening to. It’s great to be able to say, “It’s so-and-so and they’re playing here in a couple weeks.”
It’s usually easiest when a band can provide us with an album download, but physical copies of CDs work too. We usually just throw them on our iPod though. Physical CDs can be sent to the address below.
It’s also really nice when bands send us posters for upcoming shows. If we can even get a digital copy of your poster, we’ll print them up, get them up in the bar and distribute them around the city. We usually do a run of posters every other week, so make sure if you send a digital copy we get it in enough time.
All physical promo stuff can be sent to this address:

MEDIA CONTACT
In the 3 years we’ve been doing this, we’ve found local media gets a little sick of us emailing them three or four times a week about shows coming up, and have found that an email from a band, or someone representing the band, gets a lot more press than an email coming from us.
That being said, we are more than willing to help bands out with local media. Just let Adam know what you need.
Below is a media contact list for Toledo. It’s by no means exhaustive, but it’s a list of people we usually get the best response from. Feel free to tell any of these people that we sent you.
